Cricket Musch is a seasoned professional with over four decades of experience in the golf industry. He has held key roles in major sports and golf management organizations, contributing significantly to athlete development and global tour operations.
Currently, Cricket serves as the Director of Athlete Development - Golf at Nike, a position he has held since January 2007. Over his 17-year tenure, he has been instrumental in nurturing and managing relationships with professional golfers, enhancing their careers and promoting Nike's presence in the sport.
Prior to his current role, Cricket was the Director for Business Development and Player Manager at Gaylord Sports Management in Scottsdale, Arizona. From March 2003 to March 2006, he managed a portfolio of professional athletes, facilitating their growth and endorsement opportunities.
Cricket's extensive experience also includes a decade-long tenure at PING, where he served as the Director of Global Tour Operations from October 1992 to March 2003. In this role, he oversaw the company's worldwide tour activities, ensuring PING's equipment was prominently featured in major tournaments around the globe.
Before his time at PING, Cricket was the Executive Director of the Sun Bowl and El Paso Sun Carnival Association from March 1990 to October 1992. Here, he led one of the most prestigious college football bowl games, enhancing its profile and operations.
Cricket began his career as the Head Golf Coach at the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) from October 1981 to March 1990. During his eight years in this role, he developed and mentored collegiate golfers, laying the foundation for their professional careers.
Currently residing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Cricket is looking forward to a personal milestone as he prepares to get married this fall. His professional journey and personal achievements reflect his dedication to the game of golf and his ability to foster talent at every level.
