Laura Ianello serves as the Head Women’s Golf Coach at the University of Texas, where she leads one of the nation’s premier collegiate programs. With 18 years of collegiate coaching experience, she brings extensive expertise in NCAA postseason competition and championship operations. During her career, she has won one NCAA Championship, two Pac-12 Championships, advanced to the NCAA Championship semifinals in match play three times in the past decade, and qualified for the NCAA Championship final eight on six occasions.

A former collegiate student-athlete (University of Arizona), she also competed professionally on the LPGA and Epson Tours for six years, giving her a comprehensive perspective across the full collegiate-to-professional golf pathway and a deep appreciation for the student-athlete experience.

With Texas hosting the NCAA Championship, she offers valuable insight into championship logistics, competitive structure, student-athlete needs, and best practices for hosting a premier collegiate golf event. She is deeply committed to the growth of collegiate golf and brings a collaborative, thoughtful, and championship-minded approach to advancing the mission of CWGCF.
